Check out Jay's final update of 2024 - transcripts available in English y Español. Jay sends these updates every 100 days (or so) to share some of what is happening around the Vineyard from his unique seat as National Director.
Below are updates about the 2025 National Conference dates and locations, new census questions, and a VUSA team update. Make sure to check out the updates from Vineyard Worship, Vineyard Missions, and Multiply Vineyard as well.
Dates and locations are set for the 2025 Vineyard USA National Conference! After our incredible time in Denver and Cincinnati last year, we have decided to keep these two locations for our conferences this year as well. We can't wait to have you join us.
The 2025 dates and locations are:
Denver, Colorado at Faith Church - June 16th - 20th
Cincinnati, Ohio at Cincinnati Vineyard - July 14th - 18th
Both sites will also include programming for youth and kids. Stay tuned for details on the theme, speakers, and registration opening in early 2025.
Registration is open for the Vineyard Worship Essentials winter cohorts. Past cohorts experienced an incredible time of connection with other worship leaders who are passionate about leading people into God’s presence. This winter, worship leaders and worship team members are invited to join for the next chapter.
What to Expect:
• Practical training on essential worship leadership skills
• Eight-week cohorts for connection, discussion, and growth
At the beginning of February, Vineyard Missions will be hosting their Missions Leaders Meeting (MLM) and registration is open. This meeting is designed for anyone who makes or participates in decisions related to their church's involvement in missions. Their theme this year is “Co-Laboring: Effectively Multiplying Disciples, Leaders, and Churches." Leaders from other nations will be sharing, and there will be many opportunities to connect with others.
Due to limited capacity, there are only 180 spots available. This meeting is by invitation only and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please contact the Missions Mobilizer in your region to learn more or obtain an invitation.
Multiply Vineyard caught up with Mitch and Jeny Cherry, who recently attended a Stadia Discovery event for assessment, and are currently going through Church Launch School for training to plant a new church. Here's what Mitch had to say:
"When my wife and I answered God’s call to plant a church, we were amazed by the incredible support and resources He provided through Multiply Vineyard, Stadia, and Church Launch School. From the start, the assessments from Multiply Vineyard and Stadia gave us a deep sense of awareness, helping us identify both our strengths and areas for growth. This process only affirmed deeper what God was already laying on our hearts. One of the most powerful moments in this journey was seeing my wife come alive during the Discovery Event in Orlando, where we felt the weight and excitement of the calling. What I already knew and saw in her through our marriage, parenting, and serving together, the guides were able to see in person during our Discovery event. I will be honest, it brought me to tears and I felt the Holy Spirit in all of it! This entire process has given us a clearer vision of what the future holds and has equipped us for the challenges ahead. We wholeheartedly recommend Church Launch School to anyone church planting!"

We're excited to share that Dr. Charles Montgomery, Jr. will be stepping into a full-time role as Associations Director beginning January 1, 2025. Charles has been a vital part of our journey since the 2021 ReOrg, serving part-time as both Associations Strategic Coordinator for Vineyard USA and Teaching Pastor at Vineyard Columbus.
As he transitions to this new role, Charles will remain a part of the teaching team at Vineyard Columbus, but will be focusing his attention full-time to continue the ongoing work of forming Beloved Community across Vineyard USA by establishing a welcoming and hospitable environment for people from historically underrepresented groups.
At the beginning of the year, we will start the process of collecting new census data from churches for 2024. This census will open on January 6, 2025. We've added new questions again this year so make sure to check out the updated list of census questions to prepare in advance. If you're a senior pastor who would like someone on your team to complete the census on your behalf, please email census@vineyardusa.org.
